Nick Alarif

ADJUNCT PROFESSIONAL LECTURER

Nick F. Alarif earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Delaware in 2007. He then graduated with his JD cum laude from American University’s Washington College of Law (WCL) in 2011. Today, he focuses on health care regulation and fraud and abuse matters, including the physician self-referral law (Stark Law), the False Claims Act (FCA), the Federal Anti-Kickback Statute, and other health care compliance matters. He also advises clients on the complex legal and factual issues surrounding Medicare Parts A–D reimbursement and other Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) payment policies.

In 2015, Alarif accepted the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ Appreciation and Achievement Award.
